AUT University has a broad range of research experts who can assist you with your research and development (R&D) requirements. We can help you find the right people, the best interface and potential funding sources to meet your needs. We can also provide you with project management services.

Technology licensing and investment opportunities

IP developed at AUT University may become available for licensing or sale, subject to any contractual arrangements with existing contract research partners. We are looking for licensing partners willing to work with us to get the most out of these technologies. There are a number of potential investment opportunities in the AUT technology portfolio.

The AUT Business Innovation Centre (BIC) is a business incubator run by AUT University. It is a place for high-growth start-up businesses to get office/lab space as well as receiving incubation and other value-added services to help grow their business. The BIC can link resident companies with AUT research expertise to further develop new technologies.
